You will receive information about the seminar venue, date, and time upon your arrival at the hotel or temporary accommodation. The Global Development Consultancy associate will provide you with all the necessary details regarding the upcoming seminar.
The First Session (approximately 1 hour) of the Seminar will brief the students/immigrants about
- Dos and don't for a student/immigrant
- List of benefits that are made available for students/immigrants in Australia
- Brief on mandatory services to be availed by the student/immigrant/Mobile connection (SIM Card)/Social Insurance Number/Bank Account Opening/Credit Card application submission/Local Travel Pass/any mandatory registrations to be completed by the student or immigrant etc.
- List of key landmarks in the local city - including restaurants/places of worship/famous tourist spots.
The second session of the Seminar will give a brief overview of the
- Overview of local real estate market/few empanelled brokers for real estate/mandatory financial products and benefits (including Life Insurance/Medical Insurance etc.)/list of few job consultants/recruitment firms and contact persons/list of 5-7 nearby schools in the local city
- Explain the process to avail of Government-funded settlement services for immigrants such as Newcomer center of education/free computer access/free bus passes (CAD 200)/business dress (CAD 250)/child benefits form filling up etc. for express entry visa only.
The Seminar will provide correct, relevant and updated information about various necessary aspects (about local city/country)/benefits/legal requirements if need be/how to avail of essential services required in daily life.
The Seminar will also reiterate the information about good rental places to stay or buy/good brokers/mandatory local city or province requirements to be fulfilled by the immigrant upon landing in Australia/few places where traditional home-cooked food is available/help the immigrant or student to prepare a resume suited for local jobs/how to enlist with local employment agency.
The Seminar will be divided into two sessions of 1 hour each. Your associate will accompany you throughout the Seminar.
Students/Immigrants who sign up and have paid for Global Development Consultancy services in India or Abroad - can attend these Seminars.
Our preference will be to hold the Seminar offline in select cities. However, we are prepared to conduct the session online also.
The frequency of the Seminar will be determined by the number of attendees confirming to join the session.
Yes, you can attend the Seminar twice free of cost at a later date in case you miss the original allotted session.
Global Development Consultancy allows up to two family members to attend the program.
